With a range of ages and experience Andy “Vicar” Vertigan stepped in after Tom Doig was delayed by trains and got everyone in the room involved with audience participation on the very important topic of game management.
For the over 30 match officials in attendance, from ages 15 to, well let’s not dwell there too much, it was a journey into self-evaluation and most importantly enjoyment and fun balanced with new knowledge and skill which left everyone feeling that they have achieved plenty and can give even more enjoyment to themselves and players as well as those that watch each week.
